All For 'Chakhna' - Man Forgets Side Dish With Booze, Argues With Friend And Allegedly Stabs Him To Death

In what can only be termed as a shocking incident, a 38-year-old man allegedly killed his 43-year-old friend by stabbing him to death. Why? This was due to an argument over not buying a side dish for booze at Guduvanchery town in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu district. Vasu, the accused, is yet to be caught.

The man killed is Vinayagam and he was a friend of Vasu. Both were brokers in a real estate business and also sold flowers along with driving cabs to make ends meet.

After liquor shops were opened, the plan was that Vinayagam would buy alcohol and Vasu would buy duck meat for the side dish. Vasu got an invitation from Vinayagam and they went to a tamarind farm located in Dargas. When they sat down to drink, Vasu said he did not bring the duck meat. Angry, Vinayagam started to argue. It was then that Vasu allegedly stabbed stabbed Vinayagam and fled, according to a TOI report.
